Formulation Compounding Center · Autism & ASD

Built around the one child in front of you.

Autism care is never one-size-fits-all — the dose, the form, and the ingredients that work for one child won’t for the next. We compound medications your patients can actually take: flavored, dye- and allergen-free, in micro-doses, and in the exact form a sensory-sensitive child will accept. Prescribed on your terms, ordered in minutes on FormuConnect.

The real barrier

The hard part isn’t the molecule. It’s getting the child to take it.

Pills that can’t be swallowed. Suspensions a picky eater detects instantly. Textures a sensory-sensitive child refuses. The best regimen fails if it never gets taken. Compounding solves the delivery problem: we remake the same medication in a form and flavor your patient will accept — and leave out what sets them off.

One prescription, delivered the way a real child will take it.

Additive-free by design

You control what’s in the medicine — and what’s left out.

Many OTC and generic products carry dyes, fillers, and allergens that can aggravate symptoms — and complicate an elimination protocol. When you compound with us, those come out. We build the formula to your specification, so a diet trial isn’t undone by an inactive ingredient.

The formulary · prescriber-directed

Therapies clinicians actually order from us for ASD.

These are compounded to a valid, patient-specific prescription at your direction. Several are used off-label; the evidence base is emerging and mixed, and none is FDA-approved to treat autism. We make them cleanly, in the dose and form you specify — and our pharmacists are a phone call away.

Low-Dose Naltrexone (LDN)

Capsules 1 mg & 1.5 mg · custom micro-doses

At very low doses, naltrexone has been explored for irritability, hyperactivity, and repetitive or self-injurious behavior. Compoundable well below commercial tablet strengths, with dose-flexible capsules for gradual titration.

Off-label · prescriber-directed

Leucovorin (Folinic Acid)

25 mg/mL oral suspension · flavorable

High-dose folinic acid has been studied for language and social communication in children with ASD and cerebral folate concerns. Supplied as a suspension we can flavor and make dye-free for pediatric use.

Off-label · prescriber-directed

Oxytocin

Nasal spray · sublingual RDT & troche

Intranasal oxytocin has been investigated for social responsiveness; results are mixed. Available needle-free as a nasal spray or a sublingual rapid-dissolve tablet for children who won’t tolerate a spray.

Off-label · prescriber-directed

NAC & Glutathione

N-acetylcysteine & glutathione

Autism has been associated with lower antioxidant status. N-acetylcysteine and glutathione are used to support redox balance; we compound them in the routes and strengths you prescribe.

Prescriber-directed antioxidant support

Methyl-B12 (Methylcobalamin)

Injection 1 mg/mL & 5 mg/mL

Methylcobalamin has been studied in ASD methylation and behavior protocols. Available as a preservative-considered injectable, and combinable with other actives per your regimen.

Prescriber-directed

Targeted nutritional compounds

Magnesium · taurine · zinc · L-carnitine · D3 · methylfolate

For picky-eating and malabsorption-related deficiencies, we build custom mega- and multi-nutrient compounds — in one flavored, additive-free preparation instead of a fistful of pills.

Custom formulations

Strengths and forms shown are representative and adjustable to your patient. Ingredient availability is confirmed at the time of prescribing in FormuConnect. Nothing here is a therapeutic claim — treatment decisions rest with the prescriber.

Why compounding fits ASD

Precision commercial products can’t give you.

Titrate

Micro-doses & slow ramps

Start far below the lowest commercial strength and step up gradually — essential when tolerance and sensitivity vary child to child.

Isolate

One variable at a time

Single-ingredient preparations let you test one change at a time during a trial, without the confounders baked into combo products.

Simplify

Fewer administrations

Combine compatible actives into one flavored dose to cut the daily pill burden — and the daily battle.

Can you make leucovorin as a dye-free, flavored suspension for a 6-year-old?
Yes — leucovorin (folinic acid) is stocked as a 25 mg/mL oral suspension, and we can prepare it dye-free with a flavor from our list. Share the target dose and I’ll pull the formulation and confirm with the pharmacist. ◆ FCC Catalog — Leucovorin Suspension General reference only — confirm the dose, base, and suitability for your patient with the pharmacist. Honest about the evidence — careful with your patients.

Autism compounding sits in an area of active, unsettled research. We won’t overstate it. What we make is patient-specific, prepared to your prescription, and supported by pharmacists — not marketing claims.

Compliant

503A, patient-specific

Every compound is made to a valid prescription for an individual child — never mass-produced.

Honest

Off-label, stated plainly

We label off-label therapies as off-label and don’t claim to treat or cure autism. The clinical call is the prescriber’s.

Supported

Pharmacist-backed

Formulation, base, flavor, and dose questions go to a real pharmacist — Roxi never replaces clinical judgment.

Give your ASD patients medications they’ll actually take.

Tell us about your practice and we’ll set you up on FormuConnect — with the forms, flavors, and dose flexibility these patients need.
